Founded in 2023
In September of 2023, Tia Daher recognized the scarcity in the number of students with an interest in engineering. As someone who had always been interested in gadgets and tools, Daher decided that the fun and enlightenment of engineering needed to be promoted. She got a group of her friends with like-interests (Nitya Durgam, Jehana Muhsin, Olivia Suh, and Makayla Lee), and together, they created EMC.

Adult Advisor - LaDuca
Supervises partnerships with Title I schools, connecting EMC with educational institutions while providing the supplies and curriculum necessary to support organizational initiatives.
President - Daher
Coordinates and manages the organization as a whole, overseeing the Project Management Department responsible for developing organizational initiatives and applying STEM knowledge to innovative projects.

Manages official communications via email, overseeing the Public Relations Department that builds and maintains EMC’s presence through partnerships with schools, organizations, and businesses.
Historian - Muhsin
Manages the organization’s website and social media outreach, overseeing the Outreach Department responsible for member recruitment, event promotion, and community engagement.
Manages organizational finances, coordinating fundraisers and allocating funds for events, while overseeing the Finance Department responsible for budgeting and assigning SSL hours to EMC members and volunteers.
